- Thanks to a herniated disc caused by my pregnancy, I’ve endured 2 back surgeries in the last 5 years. I am about to embark on a third While recovering, I discovered the wonderful world of blogging. Loving to write, I decided to give my own blog a go, and Mommy Learns to Blog was born! I’m Mommy to The Mad Hatter (MH), age 8. Mommy-goggles on, she’s one of the most charismatic, charming, loving, and gorgeous kids I've ever known, with a personality 100 times bigger than she is and a heart made of gold. I’ve been married for 11 years to the most supportive, caring, and loving man I could have ever wished for. My Mom and I own a small custom embroidery business called Stitch Me This. Although we've slowed down a bit this past year due to family illnesses, we make custom embroidered clothing, gifts, and accessories for hip kids and equally hip grown-ups. We are going to be working on creating an Etsy store, and in the meantime you can check out Stitch Me This on Facebook to see some of our unique creations! I’ve got a passion for communication and meeting new people. Life around here is never boring, and I hope my blog will bring a smile to those who read about our adventures!

We did the pumpkins, rides and pony ride this past weekend too! Gotta love fall in New England.
I am gald we did not wait for this weekend because it was COLD today.

Really great pictures. I wish we had a pumpkin patch (that didn't cost $20 per person to get into) around here. Oh, and some cooler weather to make it feel like fall would be sort of nice too.
